This pack contains a number of resources to support pupils when writing list poems around the theme of winter. Two model poems are included to teach this poetic style with opportunities to explore expanding noun phrases using adjectives, modifying nouns and prepositions.
The poems could be used as part of a series of English lessons. The pupils' final writing task is to write their own list poem on a similar theme, using the model texts as inspiration.
