Plazoom has teamed up with Beano to create comprehension activities based on one of its well-loved comic strips. The comprehension questions will develop pupils’ skills when answering questions that involve retrieval, inference, vocabulary and sequencing. A writing prompt is also included with each resource pack.
What is included in this Key Stage 2 resources pack?
In this resource, pupils will read a story about Minnie the Minx. Minnie wants to get her hands on Dad’s tomatoes to use in her catapult but Dad is very protective of his plants and won’t allow Minnie in the greenhouse. He explains how he talks to them to help them grow strong and healthy. Minnie eventually gets into the greenhouse and talks to the tomato plant. It then immediately shakes free two tomatoes for Minnie! Whatever will she do with them?
