Sir David Attenborough is an expert on the natural world and is an influential voice on environmental issues. One of his latest roles is as People's Advocate during COP26, an international climate summit held in Glasgow during the autumn of 2021. In this role, he will speak to global leaders about the dangers of climate change and call for actions that will help to reduce further increases.
Pupils in year 5 and year 6 will read a biographical text about Sir David Attenborough, finding out about his life in broadcasting for eight decades. They will then have the opportunity to develop comprehensions skills by answering simple questions about what they have listened to or read.
