Share the story of Chinese New Year with young learners, learning which animals make up the Chinese zodiac. Children can listen to the story, presented as a short, illustrated PowerPoint presentation, then use masks to re-enact The Great Race which decided the order in which the animals would appear. Pupils can act out the story independently in the masks or using animal figures. Images of the animals are also provided to provide opportunities for children to sequence the story.
