The session begins with a memorable image prompt to stimulate discussion, before introducing adverbs. Students have a chance to familiarise themselves with what adverbs are and practise using them, before then applying what they have learnt in the context of a short creative writing activity.
What is an adverb?
A word or phrase used in conjunction with with an adjective, verb, or other adverb that provides further information regarding a subject or object’s place, condition, frequency, speed, intensity or other variable.
