Apply Write a description of the image, underlining the subjects and objects in the sentences. What is the subject of a sentence? The subject of a sentence is completing the action. It usually comes before the verb. What is the object of a sentence? The object of a sentence is on the receiving end of the action. It usually comes after the verb.
