These printable spelling worksheets provide a great way to practise, revise and test the Year 3 and Year 4 spelling words from the National Curriculum Spelling List.
All of these words are covered across five activity sheets, each containing three different types of spelling challenge.
Use these Year 3 and 4 spelling games to help pupils practise these words. You might also like our Year 3 spelling patterns posters and Year 4 spelling bingo game.
What’s included
The first challenge on each of the five worksheets in this download involves Year 3 and 4 children writing the correct spelling next to any misspelt words in a grid. Misspellings for children to correct include:
The next challenge asks pupils to unscramble words and write the correct spellings. The final challenge on each worksheet asks children to write out the answers to word clues. For example: ‘You write this on a postcard’ (answer: address).
All the worksheets have been designed to be clear and easy to follow, with plenty of space for children to write their answers. Use these as part of your English lesson or send them home with children as homework practice.
