These KS2 SPaG PDF worksheets review the grammar and punctuation objectives covered during Year 4.
They are an excellent way to identify areas of strength or weakness in preparation for the next school year, and to revise this content before SATs in Year 6.
The worksheets are divided into five different types of activity including writing challenges and GPS sample test questions:
- Understand
Rewrite the sentences so that they include fronted adverbials, circle the prepositional phrase in each sentence, fill in the missing gaps with a determiner, and much more
- Challenge
Write two sentences about each image provided. Each sentence should include the grammatical feature suggested
- Explain
Explain in your own words what each of these grammatical features are
- Test
Tick all of the sentences that contain a fronted adverbial, add the missing apostrophes for possession to these sentences, underline the expanded noun phrase in each sentence, and much more
- Apply
Write a story about the image provided, showing that that you can use as many of the features listed as possible
