What is a modal verb?

A modal verb modifies a verb in a sentence. They are used to show possibility or likelihood, necessity or the future. Modal verbs are: will, would, can, could, may, might, shall, should, must, ought.

What is a synonym or antonym?

Synonyms are words with the same or a similar meaning. The words fast, speedy and rapid are synonyms of the word quick. Antonyms are words with the opposite meaning, such as fast and slow
