Queen Elizabeth II was the monarch for 70 years, from 1952 to 2022. Teach pupils about her life and significant events during her reign using this resource pack.

Pupils in Key Stage 1 will read a short biography of Queen Elizabeth II, learning about her life and work. Comprehension questions are included to check pupils' understanding of what they have read.

In other activities, pupils will create a simple timeline of her life and explore her family tree, identifying those who are in line to the throne within her family. They can also explore what it might be like to be the monarch of a country and whether they would like to be King or Queen.
