King Charles III became King in September 2022. But what do your pupils know about the current monarch?
This simple biographical text can be used to teach pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 about King Charles III. Pupils can read information and answer simple questions, displayed on a PowerPoint, to check their understanding of what has been read. This could be used as a whole class reading activity using the PowerPoint. Alternatively, more fluent readers could use the PDF version of the text and comprehension independently or in groups during guided reading sessions.
